1940’s Mystery
We’ll Cheat Again
The year is 1949. Vera Ginn, the forces sweetheart has gone out of favour with her public. Now she is planning a comeback, with the help of her personal assistant and a favourable article in What-ho! Magazine. However, her comeback seems to be faultering when secrets from her past come back to haunt her. When one of the characters is killed, the audience must syphon off the red herrings and use the clues to discover the murderer.

1920’s Mystery
The Maharajah’s Diamond
Let us transport you to the Roaring 20s. At a large country house, a cryptic note has been opened after 10 years, speaking of a hidden jewel with alleged magic powers. A suffragette archaeologist, a young flapper and her guardian and a gentleman adventurer turn up out of the blue. When one of them is killed, the audience must act quickly to find not only the murderer, but also to break the code to discover the secret location of the jewel. Set to a soundtrack of 1920’s music, and including a little mind reading, this is an evening full of fun and adventure.

Wartime Mystery
The Cambridge Enigma
It is 1942, and all is not well at the American Air Base. When the General reports that he has discovered a secret, with black market trading rife, and run-ins with the local Home Guard, everybody believes they might be the guilty party. Rumours abound of the infiltration of a German Spy and when a secret coded message is discovered, it soon becomes clear that somebody had to die. It is left to the audience to crack the enigma code with their own enigma machines, and to discover the identity of the the spy.

1930s
Death of a Dowager
In a fusion of Agatha Christie, Jeeves and Wooster and Upstairs Downstairs, the Lady of the house is celebrating her 80th Birthday. But she is not the most popular of people. Her daughters want rid of her, the butler and the maid are not treated with great kindness and when a young man brings news of a long lost relation of theirs, their world is turned upside down. Inevitably somebody is killed. The police will take too long to arrive, so the audience must decide not only who did it, but also why and, crucially, how.

Dead of Night
It is the first night of the new music festival. The Avenue Sisters, hotisting the event have secured Billy Blackbird and the Feathers as their headline act. However, Frankie Croon is not pleased to discover that not only is he no longer the headliner, but he hasn’t even been booked this year. All sorts of skeltons emerge before and after one of them is killed in a novel way! The audience help a hippy named Jupiter to solved the mystery.
